Our Standards
The Bilberse Standard
We spent 34 months developing Bilberse because we refused to compromise. Every ingredient, every concentration, every decision was made with one question in mind: Is this truly safe and effective for the person using it?
Here is what we stand for.
🚫 100% PG-Free. Always.
Prostaglandins and prostaglandin analogues are synthetic hormones used in many lash serums to force the hair growth cycle. They work — but at a cost: eye irritation, iris color change, periorbital fat loss, and skin darkening. We made the decision early on that no result is worth those risks. Bilberse achieves its results through a clinically validated peptide complex, with zero prostaglandins. Ever.
🌱 Plant-Powered Ingredients
Our formula is built on a foundation of plant-derived actives — including Centella Asiatica, Portulaca Oleracea, Citrus Unshiu Peel Extract, and Nymphaba Coerulea Flower Extract. These botanicals work synergistically with our peptide complex to nourish, protect, and strengthen lashes from the root.
🧪 Clinically Validated
Bilberse has been tested in independent clinical studies. 94% of participants reported visible improvement in lash length, thickness, and density within 12 weeks. We don’t make claims we can’t back up.
🐰 Vegan & Cruelty-Free
No animal testing. No animal-derived ingredients. Full stop. We believe beautiful lashes should never come at the expense of another living being.
🔬 Clean Formula
Bilberse is free from:
- Prostaglandins & prostaglandin analogues
- Parabens
- Sulfates
- Artificial fragrances
- Mineral oils
- Phthalates
👁️ Ophthalmologist-Friendly
Our formula is designed to be safe for use around the delicate eye area. It is suitable for contact lens wearers and has been tested for ocular compatibility. We still recommend a patch test for first-time users with highly sensitive skin.
Bilberse exists because we believe you deserve a lash serum that works — without the fine print. These are not just marketing claims. They are the standards we hold ourselves to every single day.
